Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / Marlen Asgarov, the Vice President of Azerenerjy, stated in a news conference on 21 July that the company is considering the opportunity to construct a new module power station in the district of Gusar in Azerbaijan.
There are plans to build a skiing resort in this region; artificial snow will be used during summer months. This will require a huge amount of electrical power.
The designed capacity of the power station ranges from 100MW to 150MW. The company is considering the opportunity to construct a module power station comprising 12 units. It will produce approximately 140MW.
Earlier, Azerenerjy ordered five module power grids with a total capacity of 450 KW. The construction of the biggest module power station with capacity of 300MW is already underway.
