Azerenergy JSC Procures Payments for Illegally Used Electric Energy
Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / Some 97% of commodity subscribers (of the general population) in the distribution networks of forty-six Azerbaijani regions managed by Azerenergy JSC have been provided with personal metres. As a result, 82.6% of payments were procured.
The raids held by the Energy Supply Department in June revealed there were 1,900 violations in the use of energy. Of the violations, 210 occurred in the Ganja Region Energy Supply Department, 216 in the Mingachavir energy supply system, 406 in the Ali Bayramly energy supply system, 180 in the Lankaran energy supply system, 171 in the Shamkir energy supply system, and 214 in the Kurdamir energy supply system. The majority of the violations were registered in Imishli energy supply system - 500 incidents.
A portion of illegally used energy (16mln KW per hour) was repaid. Some 11,600 legal documents were developed within six months and 79.2mln KW per hour of electric energy was repaid (AZN 4.1mln).
