By Rashid Shirinov – Trend:

The Finance Ministry of Kazakhstan plans to create centralized accounting of all public finances in the country, Trend reports referring to the Kazakh media.

"It is planned to improve the work of the treasury. This is a great work that will be carried out directly on the basis of the treasury. Since the centralization of accounting will take place within the treasury, all financial statements in Kazakhstan will be formed centrally," Vice-Minister of Finance Berik Sholpankulov said at a briefing.

He added that accounting is a multistage and complex system and not all accountants have the necessary qualifications.

"To minimize risks and improve efficiency in the work, it was decided to create centralized accounting so that we could quickly receive information on accounting," Sholpankulov concluded.
