By Rashid Shirinov – Trend:

Revenues of the state budget of Kazakhstan excluding transfers amounted to 8.2 trillion tenge in 2018, or 102.4 percent of the plan, Trend reports via Kazakh media.

"The republican budget received revenues of 5.9 trillion tenge, which by 130 billion tenge exceeds the plan and is 836 billion tenge more compared to 2017," Finance Minister Alikhan Smailov said speaking at the board of the ministry.

He believes that in 2019 the republican budget should receive extra 1 trillion tenge of taxes.

"I think that this is quite possible, we must fulfill this task," said Smailov.

The minister explained that along with the favorable situation in the export markets of Kazakh goods and economic growth in the country, the improvement of tax and customs administration was also a factor contributing to over-fulfilling the planned revenues.

"The effect of this work amounted to more than 410 billion tenge. At the same time, the effect of digitalization of the activities of the Finance Ministry amounted to about 100 billion tenge," Smailov said.
