Uzbek bank to co-op with Russia's largest payment system

KoronaPay, an international money transfers service, and Ziraat Bank Uzbekistan JSC have announced the start of their cooperation, Trend reports via the Uzbek media.

Thus, their clients are now able to instantly send and receive money in US dollars without opening an account.

There are favorable rates for the KoronaPay money transfers in the offices of Ziraat Bank Uzbekistan - from 1 percent (depending on the amount and direction of the transaction). When sending money with conversion into another currency, there is a special rate of 0 percent, no transfer fee is charged.

“The long-term experience of KoronaPay in Uzbekistan and steady growth in the amount of remittances sent and received by the Uzbek citizens suggest that this service will be in demand in the retail business of our partner,” the Russian company's deputy director for services Olesya Fedorova said.

“The provision of money transfer services in our country is an integral part of the client-oriented business. Cooperation with this system is a logical continuation of our corporate strategy aimed at expanding and improving customer services,” First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Ziraat Bank Uzbekistan Yodgor Umaraliev stressed.

KoronaPay is the largest payment system in Russia. Cash money transfer service of the company is used by millions of customers in Russia, CIS and other countries worldwide.
