The average weighted dollar rate at the morning session of the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) on April 24, 2019 amounted to 377.73 tenge, Trend reports with reference to KASE
Compared with the morning session on April 23 (377.21 tenge/$1), the national currency fell by 0.52 tenge to dollar.
KASE states that at the morning session, the minimum rate was at 377.40 tenge per dollar, the maximum was 377.98 tenge, and the closing rate was 377.90 tenge per dollar.
The volume of trading in the dollar amounted to $22.140 million.
The number of transactions in currency transactions was 60.
In the exchange offices of Nur-Sultan (former Astana), the maximum selling rate of the American currency at 11:15 (GMT +6) is 378.8 tenge, Almaty - 379.9 tenge.
The official rate of the National Bank on April 24 is 377.33 tenge per 1 dollar. Note that the official exchange rate of the tenge to the US dollar on the next day is set on the basis of two sessions of the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange.
