The Uzbek bank Asaka and the Sinosure export credit agency (ECA) of China have reached an agreement on issuing an insurance policy for the obligations of Asaka bank in the amount of 36 million euros, Trend reports citing Uzbek media.
The parties concluded the agreement at a meeting in Beijing on August 28 within the visit of Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov to China.
The insurance policy will be issued as part of the financing of the project for the production of float glass of JSC “QUARTS”.
ECA Sinosure was formed by the government of China in 2001. Today, ECA Sinosure is the only export credit agency in China and a largest export credit agency in the world.
