Assets of Azerbaijan’s AtaInsurance decrease over first half of 2019

The assets of the Azerbaijani insurance company AtaInsurance amounted to 27.045 million manats for the first half of 2019, having decreased by 5.1 percent since the beginning of the year, Trend reports referring to the company's financial report.

The bulk of AtaInsurance’s assets (57.1 percent, or 15.451 million manats) amounted to short-term assets, which decreased by 4.86 percent compared to the beginning of the year. Long-term assets amounted to 11.594 million manats, having decreased by 5.36 percent.

In the structure of short-term assets, 73.5 percent (11.356 million manats) accounted for cash and cash equivalents and 21.1 percent (3.257 million manats) for receivables. The share of reinsurance in insurance reserves amounted to 785,214 manats with an increase of 41.3 percent.

According to the report, 87.2 percent, or 10.114 million manats, of the company's long-term assets accounted for financial assets, and 5.45 percent or 631,582 manats for land, buildings and equipment.

During the reporting period, the company's charter capital remained unchanged and amounted to 14.600 million manats. AtaInsurance's total capital increased by 12.2 percent to about 10.220 million manats.

According to the report, total liabilities for the reporting period decreased by 14.8 percent and amounted to 16.825 million manats. Most of the liabilities were comprised of long-term liabilities in the amount of 16.152 million manats, having decreased by 19.5 percent. The company’s short-term liabilities for the first half of the year amounted to 673,207 manats.
