By Tamilla Mammadova – Trend:

Georgia and Peru can find a common ground in the tourism sector, said ambassador of Peru to Georgia, Maria Milagros Castanon Seoane, Trend reports with reference to 1tv.ge.

The ambassador plans to meet with local Georgian tourism companies this week. Also, she plans to touch upon prospects of increasing trade and investments.

“Our common interest is the promotion of bilateral relations between countries in the field of tourism. We also plan to deepen trade relations between Peru and Georgia, and expand export-import relations. We would also like to present projects in the form of partnerships between the state and the private sector,” said the ambassador.

She believes that a visa is not a real problem and that Georgia’s successful transition to the next phase of EU rapprochement will also facilitate relations between the two countries.
