Azerbaijan exported 275,209.8 tons of cement to Georgia in January-August this year, which is an increase of 61,911.7 tons or 1.29 percent compared to the same period last year, Trend reports citing the Georgian National Statistics Office (Geostat).
The total cost of cement imported from Azerbaijan amounted to $15,109,800.
In January-August 2018, Georgia purchased 213,298.1 tons of cement from Azerbaijan in the amount of $10,802,500.
In January-August this year, Georgia imported electricity from Azerbaijan in the amount of $37,772,600. The volume of electricity imported to Georgia from Azerbaijan was $7,434,000, or 1.24 percent more compared to the same period last year.
In the first eight months of last year, Azerbaijan exported electricity to Georgia in the amount of $30,338,100.
