Georgia increases funding for agricultural project program

The budget of the program to support agricultural projects in Georgia will be increased from 20 to 40 million lari this year, Trend reports with reference to the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture of Georgia.
This change is also indicated in the draft amendments to the state budget for 2019.
The program was restored this year after being put on hold for several years.
In addition, projects that will be financed under the program include: regulation of drinking water supply and irrigation systems, drainage channels, shore protection work, repair of roads and bridges, outdoor lighting, school buildings, cultural facilities, sports facilities, squares and public gardens, etc.
