Azerbaijani population’s nominal income up

Azerbaijan’s nominal GDP amounted to 50.875 billion manats in January-August 2019, which is 2.4 percent more than in the same period of 2018, Trend reports referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).

GDP in the non-oil sector grew by 3.1 percent for the year and amounted to 26.588 billion manats.

Investments in fixed assets amounted to $8.627 billion in January-August 2019, which is 5.4 percent less than in the same period of 2018.

For the reporting period, the nominal income of the population increased by 6.4 percent and amounted to $36.861 billion.

The average annual consumer price index was 2.6 percent in January–August 2019 (0.3 percent more for the month).
