WB welcomes Georgia's progress regarding reforms

The World Bank (WB) has welcomed the progress made by Georgia in the reform process and expressed hope for further expansion of cooperation between the WB and the Government of Georgia, Trend reports citing the country's Ministry of Finance.
Finance Minister of Georgia Ivane Machavariani met with Koen Davidse, Executive Director of the World Bank within the framework of annual meetings with the group of World Bank and International Monetary Fund.
Davidse welcomed Georgia’s efforts to make doing business easier in the country.
“We see good perspectives and are ready for support,” Davidse said.
The World Bank is an active supporter of ongoing reforms in Georgia. It has invested about $4.3 billion in the implementation of more than 100 projects in the country.
