The average monthly nominal salary of employees increased by 4.4 percent and reached 822.2 manat ($483.6) in Baku from January through August 2019, Trend reports referring to the Baku City Statistics Department.
The individuals employed in the industrial, financial, insurance sectors, those engaged in professional scientific and technical activity, as well as information and communication, construction sectors receive the biggest average monthly salary.
The individuals rendering healthcare and social services, as well as those working in the field of agriculture, real estate, education, recreation, entertainment and art receive the lowest salary.
