From January through September 2019, Azerbaijan’s International Bank ranked first among Azerbaijani banks in terms of the volume of deposit portfolio in the country, Trend reports referring to the financial reports of the banks.
Azerbaijan’s International Bank’s volume of the deposit portfolio amounted to 5.4 billion manat ($3.2 billion).
PASHA Bank ranked second with a total deposit portfolio of 3.3 billion manat ($1.9 billion).
Kapital Bank with a deposit portfolio of 1.7 billion manat ($1 billion) ranked third.
The total volume of the deposit portfolio of the first three banks is 10.4 billion manat ($6.1 billion), which makes a little more than half (55.4 percent) of the total volume of all banks in Azerbaijan.

The total deposit portfolio of 15 leading banks amounted to 17.1 billion manat ($10 billion). The average deposit portfolio of the first 15 banks amounted to 572.8 million manat ($335.6 million).
