Only two Georgian banks positively complete trading on London Stock Exchange

Only Bank of Georgia and Georgia Capital Bank closed trading positively on the London Stock Exchange, where four Georgian companies are listed, while the share price of the other two companies fell, Trend reports via Georgian media outlets.

The Bank of Georgia has sold more than 352,000 shares for 5.1 million pounds.

At the same time, 286,000 shares of Georgia Capital were sold for 2.6 million pounds.

As reported, 481,000 shares of Georgia Healthcare Group were sold for 787,000 pounds. As for TBC Bank, its 149,000 shares were sold for 1.8 million pounds.

The market capitalization of the Bank of Georgia at the London Stock Exchange is 749 million pounds, the market capitalization of Georgia Capital is 332 million, the value of Georgia Health Group is 213 million, and the value of TBC Bank is 695 million pounds.

From January through November 2019, only shares of the Bank of Georgia have grown by 10.75 percent, while the shares of other three companies have depreciated. The price of Georgia Healthcare Group shares fell by 11.26 percent, the price of Georgia Capital shares fell by 20.59 percent, and TBC Bank was down by 17.21 percent.
