Georgian companies close trading positively on London Stock Exchange

BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 14

At the London Stock Exchange, where four Georgian companies are listed, all four companies completed trading positively, Trend reports citing Georgian media outlets.

As reported, 392,000 shares of the Bank of Georgia were sold for 6.1 million pounds, 304,000 shares of the Bank of Georgia Capital were sold for 2.7 million pounds.

At the same time, 770,000 shares of Georgia Healthcare Group were sold for 1.2 million pounds and 210,000 shares of TBC Bank were sold for 2.6 million pounds.

The Bank of Georgia has the highest market capitalization on the London Stock Exchange with 773 million pounds, followed by TBC Bank with 739 million pounds and Georgia Capital with 333 million pounds. Market capitalization of Georgia Healthcare Group reached 220 million pounds.

From January 1 to the present, only the value of Bank of Georgia shares has increased by 14.23 percent, while the other three companies have depreciated.
