Azerbaijan’s GDP up from January through November 2019

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Dec. 18

From January through November 2019, the gross domestic product in Azerbaijan amounted to 72.8 billion manat ($42.9 billion), which indicates an increase of 2.1 percent, compared to the same period of last year, Trend reports referring to the country's State Statistics Committee.

Added value in the non-oil sector of the economy increased by 3.5 percent, while in the oil and gas sector this increase was by 0.2 percent.

Added value in the field of information and communications increased by 15.9 percent, agriculture, forestry and fishing - 7.1 percent, tourist accommodation and catering - 5.9 percent, trade – 3.5 percent, car repair – 1.5 percent, transport and storage facilities - 0.5 percent, other services – 3.3 percent, construction - 6.4 percent.

GDP per capita amounted to 7,357 manat ($4,337).
