Start-ups in Iran's Markazi province export goods worth 1.5M euros

The export volume of the start-up companies of Iran's Markazi province reached 1.5 million euros in the current Iranian year (started on March 21, 2019), so far, the Deputy Director of Iran's Markazi province Arak Science and Technology Park (ASTP) Mohammad Karimaddini Kakkiabadi said, Trend reports referring to the park's website.

The goods produced by the start-ups in Markazi province were mainly exported to Europe, the deputy director said.

There are 83 start-ups in the province and 40 of them are located in the ASTP, while the rest operate in various industrial and production parks, Makkiabadi said.

In the current Iranian year, 18 billion rials of worth of loans (roughly $428,000) have been issued for the start-ups in the ASTP. The loans were allocated to increase employment rate and production.

Products of the chemical industry, industrial and technological equipment, ICT, aluminum, agricultural goods, nano-technology, biotechnology, medical equipment and medicines are manufactured in the park.
