About 10-20 million rials (about $ 238-$476) of loans will be provided to employees working in various sectors covering about four million families in Iran, said Head of the Planning and Budget Organization Mohammad Baqer Nobakht, Trend reports citing IRINN.
According to Nobakht, the loans will cover people employed in ten fields of economy.
The first group includes restaurants, buffets, coffee houses, grocery stores and similar objects to be identified Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade of Iran. The second group embraces tourism and tourist facilities, hotels, motels, hostels and others to be determined by Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicraft, added Nobakht.
The head of the organization said that the remaining groups cover inland and suburban public transport, travel agencies, clothing manufacture and sale enterprises, production and sale of shoes, enterprises engaged in production and sale of food items including sweets, as well as sports, entertainment, culture and education centers and centers involved in production and sale of handicrafts.
According to the official, in addition, three million low-income families have been provided with aid in the amount of 2-6 million rials (about $47.6-$142) on the eve of celebration of Nowruz, the New Year.
In his words, two million rials (about $47.6) will be given to a family of one person, three million rials (about $71.4) for a family of two members, four million rials (about $95.2) for a family of three people, five million rials (about $119) for a family of four people, and six million rials (about $142) will be paid to a family of five and more members this week.
Nobakht said the aid will be paid three more times to those low-income families in the coming weeks.
