Azerbaijan exported products worth $4.2 billion from January through March 2020, which is 6 percent more than in the same period of 2019, Trend reports referring to Azerbaijani State Customs Committee.
Over the month, the volume of export increased by 29.5 percent while the annual growth rate returned to the norm of 2019.
The share of public sector in the export amounted to $2.7 billion, which is about 63.4 percent of the total volume, private sector - $1.5 million or 36.4 percent of the total volume, and the remaining $8.1 million accounted for individuals.
In total, Azerbaijan exported 1,785 types and imported 6,274 types of goods, conducting trade operations with 153 countries.
From January through March 2020, Azerbaijan mainly exported oil and oil products, electricity, fruits and vegetables, as well as chemical products.
