Turkmenistan and Deutsche Bank AG have expressed their commitment to further development of bilateral cooperation, Trend reports with reference to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The prospects for enhancing cooperation were discussed during a videoconference between Head of the Central Bank of Turkmenistan Merdan Annadurdiyev and Deutsche Bank's Managing Director of the regional office for Central and Eastern Europe Joerg Bongartz on May 27, 2020.
The parties considered issues of bilateral cooperation and noted the productive nature of the interaction established between Turkmenistan and largest German companies. It was emphasized that today, the cooperation has reached a new level and is successfully developing in different directions.
In November 2019, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan also held a meeting with Joerg Bongartz, during which the partnership with German companies and the role of the intergovernmental working group on economics in the context of further promotion of joint projects was discussed.
German companies make a significant contribution to the implementation of long-term projects in Turkmenistan. These include companies such as Siemens, Daimler, Claas, Rohde & Schwarz, Dresser-Rand, MAN, Bosch and others.
