About 380 billion rials (about $9.04 million) in loans have been issued for working capital in the Kurdistan Province (western Iran) in the current Iranian year (began March 20, 2020), Chairman of Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of Kurdistan Province Mohammad Daravazmi said, Trend reports citing the organization’s website.
Daravazmi noted that these loans were issued by 7 banks in Iran's Kurdistan Province.
He added that according to banks, this figure will be increased to 600 billion rials (about $14.2 million) in the next two days.
The chairman stressed that it was planned to issue worth of 1.18 trillion rials (about $28 million) in loans, so far. However, the loans were not issued for certain reasons, including inactivity of production enterprises, as well as non-cooperation of banks.
