As many as 18 foreign investment projects were approved in the industrial, mining and trade sectors of Iran during the first two months of the current Iranian year (March 20-May 20, 2020), Trend reports citing Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade.
According to the report, however, 14 foreign investment projects were approved in the same period last Iranian year.
“The value of foreign investment amounted to $417.3 million during the period. Meanwhile, projects worth $395 million were approved in the first 2 months of the last Iranian year (March 21- May 21, 2019),” the report said.
Investment projects increased by 28.6 percent in terms of number and decreased by 5.4 percent in terms of value during first two months of current Iranian year compared to the same period last Iranian year, the report added.
