Azerbaijan's Uni Capital investment company increases profits

Azerbaijan's investment company Uni Capital, which is the leader of the country's exchange market, completed 2019 with a profit of 393,200 manat ($231,294), while in 2018, the company's profit amounted to 300,100 manat ($176,529), Trend reports referring to the financial report of the organization.

As reported, during the year, the company's profit grew by 31 percent.

According to the organization's financial report, the company's operating income amounted to 1.04 million manat ($611,764), showing an increase of 32.2 percent over the year.

The costs associated with working personnel amounted to 367,700 manat ($216,294), which is 33,400 manat ($19,647) more than in the previous year. General and administrative expenses of the company amounted to 202,700 manat ($119,235), which is almost twice more than a year earlier.

As a result, operating profit for the year amounted to 473,000 manat ($278,235) against a profit of 344,660 manat ($202,741) in 2018.

Non-interest income of the company as of the end of December 2019, having increased by 0.4 percent, amounted to 28,300 manat ($16,647), expenses - to 22,200 manat, ($13,058), which is an increase by 9.4 times.

Income tax amounted to 86,155 manat ($50,679).
