Azerbaijan's state budget revenues from State Customs Committee for July 2020 revealed

The State Customs Committee (SCC) of Azerbaijan transferred 340.2 million manat ($200.1 million) to the state budget in July 2020, which is 17.7 percent less compared to the same period of 2019, Trend reports citing the SCC.

In July this year, the amount of customs duties amounted to 84.1 million manat, or 24.7 percent of all receipts, value added tax (VAT) - 241.4 million manat ($49.4 million) or 71 percent, excise taxes - 11.8 million manat ($6.9 million) or 3.5 percent, road tax - 2.8 million manat ($1.6 million) or 0.8 percent.

The specific share of receipts from VAT increased by 5.9 percent over the year due to a drop in the excise share by 2.7 percent.

The receipts from customs duties this month dropped by 25.5 percent over the year, from VAT - by 10.2 percent, from excise taxes - almost halved. Road tax revenues decreased two times.

State budget revenues from the SCC are formed in four areas: customs duties, value added tax (VAT), excise tax and road tax.
