Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan increases GDP volume

The volume of GDP of Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (AR) amounted to 1.5 billion manat ($925.9 million) during first seven months of 2020, Trend reports citing a report from the State Statistics Committee of the Nakhchivan AR.

According to the data, the volume of GDP of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic grew by 0.6 percent compared to the same period of last year.

GDP per capital from January through July 2020 amounted to 3,420 manat ($2,011) increasing by 1.1 percent compared to the same period of last year.

Industry ranks first in terms of its share in the Nakhchivan AR’s GDP. The products worth 648.7 million manat ($381.6 million) were produced from January through July 2020, which is 0.9 percent more than in the same period of 2019.

Some 594.9 million manat ($349.9 million) was directed from all financial sources of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic within the investments in fixed assets from January through July 2020, which is 1.3 percent more than in the same period of 2019.
