Licenses issued to manufacturing enterprises in Iran's Yazd Province

The licenses were issued to establish 1,100 manufacturing enterprises in the Yazd Province (central İran) during the first four months of the current Iranian year (March 20-July 21, 2020), said Chairman of the Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of the province Mohammad Reza Alamdar Yazdi, Trend reports citing the organization’s website.
Alamdar Yazdi stressed that it is planned to invest 91.5 trillion rials (about $2.18 billion) in the establishment of this number of enterprises.
The chairman added that with commissioning of the enterprises, more than 20,000 people will be employed.
"The number manufacturing enterprises licensed to be established in the current Iranian year increased by 33 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year. In terms of the investment, 151-percent growth is observed, and the employment increased by 35 percent in terms of employment," he said.
More than 2,900 manufacturing enterprises were licensed to establish in Iran's Yazd Province in the last Iranian year (from March 21, 2019 to March 20, 2020) with an investment of more than 283 trillion rials (about $6.73 billion). It was expected to employ 48,200 people with the commissioning of these enterprises.
