Export of non-oil products in Azerbaijan decreased

The export of non-oil products amounted to $1.03 billion from January through July 2020, Trend reports on Sept. 11 citing the data from the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee.

The export decreased in real terms by 17.1 percent from January through July 2020 compared to the same period of last year.

Italy with a share of 32.1 percent, Turkey with a share of 18.7 percent, and Russia with a share of 4.7 percent are among the top three importers of non-oil products, the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee told the State Statistics Committee.

Italy, Turkey, and Russia are followed by China with a 4.1-percent share, India – a 4-percent share, and Israel with a 3.9-percent share, as well as Croatia, Greece, and Georgia with 3.7 percent-share, 3.4 percent-share, and 3.1-percent-share, respectively.

Following the report, the share of goods sent to Russia (40.4 percent), Turkey (19.8 percent), Switzerland (10.4 percent), Georgia (8.1 percent), China (3.1 percent), Ukraine (2.4 percent), Italy (two percent), Kazakhstan (1.6 percent), Iran (1.2 percent), Belarus (0.9 percent) and the US (0.9 percent) prevailed in the export of non-fuel products of oil and gas).

The legal entities and individuals carried out the trade operations with partners from 172 countries in Azerbaijan from January through July 2020. At the same time, the products were exported to 102 countries while imported from 160 countries.
