As of September 1, Georgia's debt to Azerbaijan amounted to $5.68 million, Trend reports citing data from the Ministry of Finance of Georgia.
The monthly debt of Georgia to Azerbaijan decreased by $422,000.
According to the report, Georgia's total external debt is $6.7 billion, of which $6.5 billion falls to the government.
Georgia's debt to Turkey and Russia also decreased compared to the previous month and amounted to $10.95 million and $43.13 million, respectively.
Georgia spent up to $623 million on external debt repayment in the first six months of 2020.
The 6-month review of the state budget execution states that 622.81 million laris ($200.5 million) was spent from the state budget to pay off the government's external liabilities in 2Q2020.
For 8 months Georgia received more than 3 billion laris ($966.1 million) of loans from donors.
