Licensing to launch enterprises in Iran expand

BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 21

The licenses worth 326 trillion rials (about $7.76 billion) were issued to the enterprises for commissioning in Iran during the first 5 months of the current Iranian year, Trend reports citing the Ministry of Industry, Mine, and Trade.

According to the report, this is an increase of 70 percent in terms of investment compared to the same period last Iranian year.

As a result of these licenses, the employment has been reached to 41,800 people. This is an increase of 3.7 percent compared to the period last Iranian year.

“In addition, the licenses were issued to the establishment of 14,800 enterprises during the reporting period. This is an increase of 40.3 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year,” the report said.

According to the report, the investment worth 1.75 quadrillions rials (about $41.8 billion) is expected to invest in the establishment of these enterprises. About 322,000 people can be employed with the commissioning of the enterprises.

“Thus, the enterprises that were licensed for establishment increased 31.5 percent in terms of investment, 29.4 percent in terms of employment,” the report noted.
