The inflation rate in Iran increased by 34.4 percent in the 6th month of the current Iranian year (August 22-September 21, 2020) compared to the same month last Iranian year, Trend reports referring to the Statistical Center of Iran.
The report shows that families spent an average of 34.4 percent more on some products and services compared to the same month of the last Iranian year.
The inflation on food, soft drinks and tobacco products in Iran was 31.5 percent in the 5th month, while in the non-food and services sector was 35.9 percent, according to the report.
