The prices on precious metals decreased in Azerbaijan on October 2 compared to the previous price, Trend reports referring to the data published by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
The price of gold went down by 4.284 manat or $2.52 (0.13 percent) and amounted to 3,215.312 manat ($1,892.47) per ounce.
The price of silver decreased by 0.0024 manat or 14 cents (0.01 percent) and amounted to 40.1363 manat ($23.62) per ounce.
The price of platinum declined by 29.665 manat or $17.46 (1.93 percent) to 1,509.311 manat ($888.35) per ounce.
The price of palladium slipped by 18.0795 manat or $10.64 (0.46 percent) and amounted to 3,936.112 manat ($2,316.72) per ounce.
In monthly terms, the price of gold plunged by 121.1505 manat or $71.31 (3.6 percent) per ounce, silver went down by 7.4246 manat, or $4.37 (15.6 percent) per ounce, platinum declined by 84.7025 manat or $49.85 (5.3 percent) per ounce, and palladium climbed by 96.016 manat or $56.51 (by 2.5 percent).
On an annualized basis, the price of gold spiked by 705.5 manat or $415.24 (28.1 percent), silver rose by 10.879 manat, or $6.4 (37.2 percent), platinum grew by 27.438 manat, or $16.15 (1.9 percent), while palladium surged by 1,132.37 manat, or $666.49 (40.4 percent).
