The foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) amounted to $6.484 billion as of early September 2020, Trend reports citing data from the CBA.
According to the bank, since the beginning of the year, the Central Bank's foreign exchange reserves have grown by 3.6 percent (from $6.258 billion to $6.484 billion). On an annualized basis, foreign exchange reserves grew by eight percent (from $6.004 billion to $6.484 billion).
As reported, during August, the Central Bank's foreign exchange reserves increased by 0.3 percent or $15.2 million.
The money supply in manat at the beginning of September amounted to 11.908 billion manat ($7 billion), which is 3.2 percent more than at the end of 2019. On an annualized basis, the growth in the money supply amounted to 17.2 percent.
