The volume of VAT receipts to the state budget of Azerbaijan decreased by 6 percent from January through September 2020, compared from January through September 2019 and amounted to 2.08 billion manat ($1.2 billion), Trend reports with reference to the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan.
The volume of customs duties received by the state budget of Azerbaijan decreased by 7.2 percent year-on-year from January through September 2020, compared to the same indicator in 2019 and amounted to 741 million manat (over $435 million).
According to the data, the volume of receipts to the state budget of Azerbaijan through state customs from January through September amounted to 2.95 billion manat ($1.7 billion). The decrease was 9.1 percent compared to the same period of last year.
The volume of revenue from excise duties decreased by 48.7 percent to 103.3 million manat ($60.1 million), and from road tax by 16.4 percent to 27.5 million manat ($16.1 million).
