Transactions worth more than 134.5 million Turkmen manat ($38.4 million) were registered on the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan in the national currency in September, Trend reports with reference to the exchange.
In the first week of August, the exchange of Turkmenistan registered transactions in the national currency in the amount of 2.7 million Turkmen manat ($786,393).
In the second week of August, transactions worth 3.8 million manat (over $1 million) were concluded on the exchange of Turkmenistan in the national currency.
In the third week of August, transactions worth 68,323 million Turkmen manat ($19.5 million) were concluded on the country's exchange in the national currency.
There was no information about operations in the fourth week of September on the exchange of Turkmenistan. As for the period from September 28 through October 2, transactions in the national currency were registered in the amount of 59.6 million manat (over $17 million).
As reported, transactions worth more than 60 million Turkmen manat (more than $17 million) were registered on the exchange of Turkmenistan in the national currency in August.
