Multiple economic bills submitted in Iran's parliament

TEHRAN, Iran, Nov.4

The parliamentary vice-president of Iran said that about 67 bills have been submitted by the government to the Parliament, 25 bills of which are economic.

"In several cases, we corresponded with the Parliament Speaker and requested that these bills be put on the agenda as soon as possible,” Vice President of Iran for Parliamentary Affairs Hossein-Ali Amiri said among reporters on the sideline of cabinet meeting today on Wednesday, Trend reports citing ILNA.

Regarding the 25 economic bills of the government he says that "For example, the Intellectual Property Protection Bill or the Eurasian Agreement is legally economic bills.”

"Besides those bills, there are a series of bills that are economic both in name and content, such as the tax bill on income and assets, the Economic, Monetary and Banking Law Amendment Bill, Cooperative Sector Reform Bill, Commercial Law Amendment Bill, Customs Law Amendment Bill and Transportation Agreement with the Caspian Sea states the bill.”
