Iran’s PBO reveals details of money allocated to fight COVID-19 pandemic

The National Development Fund of Iran (NDFI) allocated 1 billion euro in order to fight coronavirus pandemic in the current Iranian year (from March 20, 2020 to March 21, 2021), Trend reports citing Plan and Budget Organization of Iran (PBO).

According to the report, the Plan and Budget Organization of Iran has clarified the purpose for that the funds are spent.

The organization noted that the allocated funds were gradually transferred to relevant agencies according to the NIMA exchange rate declared by the Central Bank of Iran.

The details of spent funds until October 29 are reflected in the following table. The table shows the amounts according to the NIMA exchange rate.

The NIMA is a system intended for the sale of a certain percentage of the foreign currency gained from export. The price of 1 euro in this system is 317,692 rials, and the price of $1 is 264,591 rials.
