The volume of loans issued to legal entities engaged in the Azerbaijani real estate sector in early October 2020 amounted to 75.3 million manat ($44.3 million), Trend reports citing the data from the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
“This figure is 6.2 million manat ($3.6 million) or nine percent more compared to the previous month,” the CBA said. “There is more than a twofold increase (by 39.5 million manat that’s $23.2 million) compared to the same period of last year.”
Some 6.6 million manat ($3.9 million) or 8.8 percent of loans accounted for short-term loans. The remaining 68.7 million ($40.4 million) or 91.2 percent accounted for long-term loans and this figure is 3.5 million manat ($2.06 million) or 5.4 percent more compared to early September.
Private organizations were mainly provided with loans. The transactions were carried out in foreign currency.
