The inflation rate in Iran increased by 49.5 percent in the 1st month of the current Iranian year (March 21 through April 20, 2021) compared to the same month last Iranian year, Trend reports referring to the Statistical Center of Iran.
The statistics show that families spent an average of 49.5 percent more on some products and services compared to the same month of the last Iranian year.
The inflation on food, soft drinks, and tobacco products in Iran was 63.1 percent in the 1st month, while in the non-food and services sector was 43 percent, according to the statistics.
