The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) disclosed the portfolio of projects in Azerbaijan as of early June 2021, Trend reports referring to a source in the EBRD.
According to the source, the portfolio amounts to over 1.12 billion euros and is intended for the implementation of 36 projects.
Most of the projects (77 percent, or 869 million euro) are for investments in sustainable infrastructure, 21 percent, or about 235 million euro - for investments in industry, trade, and agriculture, and two percent, or 20 million euro - for investments in financial institutions.
In general, up to date, the bank has invested more than three billion euro in Azerbaijan on 177 projects.
The EBRD has been cooperating with Azerbaijan since 1992.
