Azerbaijani banks in 11M2021 increased the issuance of mortgage loans by 16.7 percent compared to the beginning of the year - up to 2.35 billion manats ($1.4 billion), Trend reports citing the Central Bank (CBA).
According to the CBA, on an annualized basis, this figure increased by 17.9 percent.
The CBA notes that Azerbaijani banks issued mortgage loans in the amount of 1.99 billion manats during the same period last year.
In addition, the loan portfolio of Azerbaijani banks at the end of November 2021 amounted to 16.28 billion manats ($9.6 billion).
In the structure of the loan portfolio, business and consumer loans accounted for 9.52 billion ($5.6 billion) and 4.40 billion manats ($2.6 billion), respectively.
