Iran sees increase in inflation rate

The inflation rate in Iran increased by 35.2 percent in the 9th month of the current Iranian year (November 22 through December 21, 2021), compared to the same month last Iranian year, Trend reports referring to the Statistical Center of Iran.

The statistics show that families spent an average of 35.2 percent more on some products and services compared to the same month of the last Iranian year.

The inflation on food, soft drinks, and tobacco products in Iran was 41.5 percent in the 9th month, while in the non-food and services sector was 31.8 percent, according to the statistics.
