BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 5. The Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA) under the Ministry of Energy ended 2021 with a net profit, Trend reports via the agency's financial statement.
According to the financial statement, the net profit amounted to 1.09 million manat ($640,000).
Besides, according to the data confirmed by auditor’s report, incomes of AERA last year equaled 11.7 million manat ($6.8 million).
Meanwhile, administrative costs of the agency stood at 12.19 million manat ($7.17 million), and other operating expenses – 446,900 manat ($262,880).
The agency’s reserve income for depreciation exceeded 1.9 million manat ($1.1 million) in 2021.
At the same time, assets of AERA increased by 9.84 percent up to 20.1 million manat ($11.8 million), capital - by 6.99 percent up to 18.6 million manat ($10.9 million), and liabilities – by 71.83 percent to 1.7 million manat ($1 million) on annual basis.
