BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 6. Number of money transfers from Russia to Kazakhstan amounted to 71,800 transactions in the amount of 18.3 billion tenge ($42.2 million) in April 2022, Trend reports citing Kazakh National Bank.
According to the bank, the share of Russia in the total number of transactions in Kazakhstan amounted to 39.9 percent.
The number of transactions, compared to April 2021, from Russia to Kazakhstan increased by 79.5 percent.
At the same time, the number of transactions from Russia increased by 2 times compared to March 2022.
A total of 180,200 transactions were carried out in Kazakhstan from abroad in the amount of 52.467 billion tenge ($121.1 million) in April 2022.
