BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 7. The Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) held an auction on the placement of government bonds of Azerbaijan’s Finance Ministry with a circulation period of 1,820 days on June 7, 2022, Trend reports citing the BSE.

According to the exchange, 12 investors submitted 18 bids in the price range from 88.1309 manat or $51.84 (nine percent) to 98.3112 manat or $57.83 (6.4 percent) during the auction.

In accordance with the decision of the Ministry of Finance, the cut-off price of public bonds was set at 95.8416 manat or $56.38 (seven percent), and the average weighted price - at 96.9289 manat or $57.02 (6.7335 percent).

The total amount of bids at nominal prices amounted to over 104.2 million manat ($61.3 million), while the placement volume totaled 56.5 million manat ($33.2 million).

The maturity date of the bonds is June 1, 2027.
