BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 9. Azerbaijan’s fixed capital investments amounted to 7.301 billion manat ($4.2 billion) from January through June 2022, decreasing by 0.1 percent against the same period of 2021, Trend reports referring to Azerbaijan’s State Statistical Committee.

In the reporting period, investments in the oil and gas industry dropped by 15.5 percent, while in the non-oil sector increased by 12.5 percent compared to the first six months of 2021.

Meanwhile, 61.5 percent of fixed investments, or 4.492 billion manat ($2.6 billion), fell on manufacturing, 32.3 percent (2.335 billion manat, or $1.37 million) – on services, 6.2 percent (453.6 million manat, or $266 million) – on the construction of residential houses, and 74.3 percent (5.427 billion manat, or $3.1 billion) accounted for internal funds.

Some 5.174 billion manat ($3.04 billion), or 70.9 percent of the funds allocated to fixed assets, was spent on construction and installation work during this period.

Funds of enterprises and organizations amounted to 54.4 percent (3.971 billion manat or $2.3 billion) out of the total fixed capital funds, while budget funds made up 29.6 percent (2.161 billion manat or $1.2 billion), other funds - 5 percent (365.05 million manat or $214.7 million), personal funds of the population – 7.8 percent (569.478 million manat or $334.98 million), as well as bank loans – 3.2 percent 233.632 million manat ($137.4 million).
