BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 2. A total of 54,200 transactions worth 15.5 billion tenge ($32.6 million) were made from Kazakhstan to Russia in July 2022, Trend reports via the National Bank of Kazakhstan.
According to the bank, Russia's share in the total number of money transfers from Kazakhstan amounted to 26.2 percent, and in the total amount of transfers – 17.9 percent.
Number of transactions from Kazakhstan to Russia, compared to June 2022, decreased by 30.5 percent, and their amount - by 30.8 percent.
At the same time, number of money transfers from Kazakhstan to Russia, compared to July 2021, grew by 31.2 percent, and their amount - by 3.6 percent.
Totally, 206,500 transactions in the amount of 86.7 billion tenge ($182.1 million) were made from Kazakhstan abroad in July 2022.
The number and volume of money transfers, compared to June 2022, decreased by 22 percent and 17 percent, respectively.
Besides, the number and volume of money transfers, compared to July last year, decreased by 11 percent and six percent, respectively.
