BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 20. The total liabilities of Azerbaijan’s Kapital Bank increased as of September 30, 2022, Trend reports on October 20 via the bank's balance sheet.

According to the report, this figure amounted to seven billion manat ($4.12 billion), up by 1.68 billion manat or $990 million (31.78 percent) over the year.

A significant share (88.32 percent) in the structure of liabilities fell on deposits, which increased by 35.58 percent over the year - up to 6.18 billion manat ($3.64 billion).

At the same time, the share of deposits of legal entities in the structure of the bank's liabilities increased by 68.85 percent on annual basis and equaled 4.25 billion manat ($2.5 billion).

The share of deposits of individuals in the structure of liabilities of Kapital Bank amounted to 31.14 percent. The deposits of individuals increased over the year by 50.45 percent - up to 1.9 billion manat ($1.12 billion).

The bank's liabilities to credit organizations and other financial institutions stood at 512.4 million manat ($301.4 million).

Its liabilities to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) decreased by 25 percent and amounted to 1.62 million manat ($950 million), and other liabilities – 235.87 million manat ($138.75 million).

The share capital of Kapital Bank amounted to 245.85 million manat ($144.5 million) as of September 30, 2022, unchanged over the year.

Capital reserves of the bank amounted to 40.04 million manat ($23.55 million), up by 39.17 percent on annual basis, while the retained earnings – 420.37 million manat ($247.28 million).

The bank’s total capital in the third quarter of 2022 equaled 716 million manat ($421.18 million).
