BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 28. The credit portfolio of Azerbaijani banks totaled 19.157 billion manat ($11.269 billion) in September 2022, up by 23.29 percent against the same period of 2021, Trend reports referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
According to the CBA, the banks' loan portfolio amounted to 15.538 billion manat ($9.1 billion) in September 2021.
Out of total loans, business loans accounted for 56.27 percent (10.78 billion manat ($6.3 billion), growth of 19.76 percent year over year), consumer loans – 29.25 percent (5.6 billion manat ($3.29 billion), growth of 32.14 percent), mortgage loans – 14.48 percent (2.77 billion manat ($1.629 billion), growth of 20.78 percent year over year) in September 2022.
